Established in 1969, ADIR was at first located in a small place of about 40 square meters. It started with only one machine for manufacturing polyethylene bags, its staff consisting of only two workers working in one shift.
Its ambitious, talented management brought astonishing success to ADIR.
ADIR is now situated in a large building of over 2,000 sqm. nearby Jerusalem. Its equipment includes extruders flexographic and rotogravure printing press, bag making machines.
The company specializes in manufacturing all kinds of plastic bags and packaging at almost any given size, gauge and colour, including all kinds of bags for household consumption.
In 1976 the company started exporting to Europe, its customers being mainly supermarkets.
Since 1983 ADIR manufactures bags on rolls for supermarkets, either for packaging or for household consumption. The company therefore invested in the modern state of the art equipment. ADIR becomes the greatest manufacturer of bags on rolls in Israel and also became world popular. |

In 2000 ADIR begins to manufacture multilayer films.
In 2004 ADIR begins to manufacture 3-Meter wide film tubes, able to reach up to 10-Meter length on roll.
In 2007 new computerize and modern product line additional.
In 2008 added new advanced product line for bags on a roll with or without a core.
In 2010 added new line of large format bags.
Currently ADIR produces any kind of flexible packages made of HD, MD, LD, LLD and multilayer films upon request in short time.
